How Is Fruit Shell Activated Carbon Made

Fruit shell activated carbon is an environmentally friendly and efficient adsorbent material, and its production process mainly includes two key steps: carbonization and activation.
Firstly, the step in making activated carbon from fruit shells is carbonization. This step involves exposing the fruit shell to a high-temperature environment, usually in a hypoxic or low oxygen atmosphere. This process can be achieved through physical or chemical activation, where chemical activation typically involves the use of alkaline compounds such as sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide.
Through these two steps, the preparation of fruit shell activated carbon is completed. The final product has a rich microporous structure and excellent adsorption performance.
