Organic waste gas treatment refers to the use of a variety of technical measures to reduce petroleum losses, reduce the amount of organic solvents, or purify exhaust gas in various ways to eliminate organic waste gas pollution. Organic waste gas pollution sources are widely distributed. In order to prevent pollution, in addition to reducing oil loss and reducing the amount of organic solvents to reduce the generation and emission of organic waste gas, exhaust gas purification is currently a practical and feasible way of treatment. Commonly used methods include adsorption, absorption, catalytic combustion, and thermal combustion. When choosing a purification method, the county should choose a method with low cost, low energy consumption, and no secondary pollution according to the specific situation, try to achieve harm as much as possible, and fully recycle the components and waste heat. In most cases, the petrochemical industry adopts methods such as condensation, absorption, and direct combustion due to high exhaust gas concentrations; the paint construction and printing industries use adsorption, catalytic combustion, and other methods due to low exhaust gas concentrations.
Governance methods
1. Condensation recovery method: the organic waste gas is directly introduced into the condenser through adsorption, absorption, decompression, and separation, and valuable organic matter can be recovered. This method is suitable for the working conditions of high concentration of organic waste gas, low temperature, and small air volume, which needs to be attached Refrigeration equipment is mainly used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and is rarely used by printing companies.
2. Absorption method: Physical absorption is generally adopted, that is, the exhaust gas is introduced into the absorption liquid for purification. After the absorption liquid is saturated, it is heated, analyzed, condensed and recovered; this method is suitable for atmospheric, low temperature, low concentration exhaust gas, but it needs to be equipped with heating The analysis and recovery device has large equipment and high investment.
Activated carbon adsorption method is generally adopted: Activated carbon is used to adsorb exhaust gas. When the adsorption is saturated, the activated carbon is desorbed and regenerated. After the exhaust gas is blown off, it is catalytically burned and converted into harmless substances. When the activated carbon is regenerated to a certain number of times, the adsorption capacity drops significantly, and the activated carbon needs to be regenerated or renewed.
Activated carbon is a common method used in the treatment of organic waste gas. It has good adsorption performance for benzene waste gas, but poor adsorption for hydrocarbon waste gas. The main disadvantage is that the operating cost is high and it is not suitable for environments with high humidity, but for current market applications, the use of activated carbon adsorption is commonly used. Activated carbon is used: activated carbon particles and activated carbon fibers. The price of activated carbon particles is cheaper, but the effect is less. In comparison, the price of activated carbon fibers is relatively higher and the effect is better.
