Production process
The production process of wooden activated carbon includes processes such as crushing, mixing, extrusion, molding, drying, carbonization, and activation. The main production methods are phosphoric acid method and zinc chloride method.
Phosphoric acid method: Using phosphoric acid as an activator, it is mixed with wood raw materials and subjected to carbonization and activation reactions at a certain temperature. The wood powder activated carbon produced by this method has a developed mesoporous structure and specific surface area, large adsorption capacity, fast filtration speed, and does not contain zinc salts.
Zinc chloride method: using zinc chloride as an activator and treating wood materials under specific conditions. The wood powder activated carbon produced by this method has developed mesoporous structure, large adsorption capacity, and fast filtration characteristics.
Strong adsorption performance: With a well-developed pore structure and a large specific surface area, it can effectively adsorb gases, organic or inorganic substances in solutions, and colloidal particles.
Long service life: 4-5 times longer than ordinary coal based activated carbon.
High mechanical strength: able to withstand certain pressure and friction, not easily broken.
High ignition point: safer during use.
High cost-effectiveness: suitable for organic gas recycling and utilization in various places.
