Catalyst Activated Carbon Loaded With Organic Compounds

Activated carbon loaded with various organic compounds as catalyst. The catalysts loaded those which include potassium hydroxide,sodium hydroxide, potassium carbonate, sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, methylamine, dimethylamine, trimethylamine, ethylamine etc. There are also a function with adsorption and removal of ammonia as catalyst for activated carbon.

The modified deodorizing activated carbon including three categories.

The first category is the catalyst activated carbon for removing alkaline malodorous gases, it is loaded with acid or treating with acid to make special activated carbon with ion exchange function, can remove alkaline gases such as ammonia and trimethylamine.

The second category is the catalyst activated carbon for removing acidic malodorous gases, it is loaded with alkaline substances halide metal salts to make special activated carbon with catalytic function, which can remove acidic gases such as hydrogen sulfide, methyl mercaptan, and sulfur dioxide.

The third category is the catalyst activated carbon for removing neutral malodorous gases, it is added with compounds such as halide metal salts to make special activated carbon with catalytic function which can remove neutral gases such as methyl sulfide and dimethyl sulfide.
