With the more and more stringent requirements of environmental protection, waste gas treatment is getting more attention. Therefore, how to carry out waste gas treatment and meet the discharge standard, which has become the top priority of the industrial industry to solve the problem, especially which industries with large air volume that need to consider more problems to deal with, the choice of treatment process needs to be careful.
In the field of air purification, it is generally believed that the purification of large air volume and low concentration of organic waste gas is a difficult problem. This kind of waste gas is characterized by large exhaust air volume, the existence of several pollutants in the exhaust gas and the low concentration of each pollutant, which generally below 1g/m. In this case, it is uneconomical to adopt the method of recovery or direct combustion.
Since this year, we designed and promoted of large air volume organic waste gas purification device, it used honeycomb activated carbon as a carrier and combined of adsorption purification, desorption regeneration and catalytic combustion principle to deal with large air volume, low concentration of organic waste gas. The practical application shows that the honeycomb activated carbon has good adsorption performance and fast desorption rate, which fully meets the requirements of the process. Honeycomb activated carbon has been widely used in the treatment of organic waste gas with large air volume.
